From an Obama Supporter, Congratulations Senator Clinton.

There, I said it.

I don't like her politics, but a winner is a winner.  In essence, she won three out of four states (three of out five contests if you consider the Texas Caucuses a separate contest).

However, I have some advice for you as a supporter of the "challenger" to your throne.

Prepare for the firestorm.

Senator, I believe you are a good and decent person at heart, so take a little advice from a peon.  You victory is a hollow one.  The delegate margins aren't moving after the Texas Caucus results are finalized and by the time Mississippi and Wyoming roll around, a new string of victories will come.

You proved something last night.  That America still can be persuaded by fear.  Unfortunately, this is a truth, and it is not a situation I can refuse to accept.  However, I can combat that with a higher truth.

Hope is inherently stronger then fear.  It always has been.

During the American Revolution, a group of pompous, middle aged white farmers decided it was time to form our own Government that would represent each individual justly.  The precepts of "One Nation" were still an idea that took years to formulate and hammer out, and the early setbacks were dangerous for the young country.  However, after the battle of Saratoga, minus a few bumps, things changed.

In World War 2, when Pearl Harbor became the mouth of hell, America did not roll over.  We geared up and went to work.  We used every available resource instead of taking another one on the chin.  At the Battle of Midway, everything changed.  Sure, there were still losses on the way, but America and our Allies would not be denied because of cause was a just one.

So you had a bump, Senator.  Congratulations.  However, you need to realize something.  You don't stop a revolution that is already in full swing.  You don't defeat a good idea with a sorry one.  You don't preclude the entirety of a people for the sake of personal ego.  When your opponent is capable of throwing equal resources and spin, and is an adept learner (see the debates, etc.), and you take us for granted in your world, then we will destroy it.

You can spin last night anyway you wish, Senator, and that is your right to do so.  However, as much as I can't deny the reality of that situation, you, eventually, cannot deny the reality of yours.

Are you ready?
